It's hard for me to say "what I do" because I wear a lot of hats. So, I'll sum things up by saying that I enjoy creating and building.
​
I love building from the ground up and thinking through an entire experience from branding to how people interact with whatever it is that I'm working on.
​
I also enjoy just creating and designing for fun. Whether it's art, a hobby that I'll dive deep into for a few months, or thinking through how to make my home aesthetically pleasing and functional. The world is truly my canvas.
​
My dream is to create exceptional and one-of-a-kind hybrid experiences that people remember and look forward to.

I'm super proud of this podcast that I co-host with my friend Kellie called Behind the Tech Scenes.
We talk about tech in a super casual and natural way for us.

What I really like about this podcast is that you don't have to work in tech or even have an interest to work in the field to enjoy it.

We keep it real about our experiences and our views on what's going on in these tech streets.
​
We're two Black women, a demographic often overlooked in tech and I hope this podcast can help people feel seen and provide some laughs and insights.

birmingham black techies
I founded Birmingham Black Techies in November 2019 to establish a community for Black people in Birmingham, AL who are in tech, want to get into tech, or are tech enthusiasts.
​
Today the community has grown much more than I ever expected. I've met some amazing people, made lasting connections, and organized great events and meetups.
I am the founder, visionary, and team of one for the community.

Black Tech Takeover was a 3-day virtual experience to celebrate, inspire, and educate Black techies worldwide.
​
It was a very fun and one-of-a-kind experience. I was the creator of the digital experience, lead organizer, and creative director.
